Among my most treasured heirlooms is this late 1800s locket pocket watch. It contains photos of my great great grandparents - Ross Allen White (1853-1907) and Abby Janette Shankland (1856-1896).
A little research into the age of that specific model of ladies Hampden pocket watches shows that it was made AFTER Abby's death in 1896. Therefore, it must have belonged to my great grandmother, their daughter, Abby Lulu White McFarlane. Perhaps it was a gift from her father.
It is in stunningly wonderful condition.
