The First Photo

This is what started it all.

Over 30 years ago, I attended a local estate auction and purchased a box of random items that no one else wanted. This photo and one like it were in the box. I kept them because they were old, and I always liked old things, and if no one else was going to appreciate it....

Today I came across this photo in a box for at least the 30th time. The new thing that I noticed is the student-to-teacher ratio. From the photo, it's looks to be about 43:1.

Then I returned the photo to the box, to be rediscovered again someday.
