Thelma & Moe

Yesterday's photo was the wedding of "Thelma and Moe" on March 22, 1940.

I actually have several other photos from this family. Few are labeled, and none include their surname. However, their faces are recognizable, and I know they all belong to the same family.

With just their first names and a wedding date, what can't a genealogist do?

Thelma Keller and Morris Singer were both born in 1908 in New York City. Her parents were from Austria-Hungary and lived in Brooklyn; his parents were Russian and lived in Manhattan.

March was a big month for them. He was born on March 1, they were married on March 22, and she was born on March 31.
