Prior to starting a project:

• I will determine your goal, what information you already know and where you’ve already researched. I want to take everything into account before I start so that I am not recreating what is already known and wasting valuable research time.

• I charge $79/hr for all projects and do not have a minimum number of hours. All projects start with just 2 hours and are fully customizable. You can add more hours at any point while it's your turn on the waitlist. I will not go beyond agreed upon hours without permission.

My promise to you:

• I promise that I will treat your family’s memories as if they were my own as I work to uncover their stories.

• I promise to work efficiently and ethically in the time budgeted. Your project will remain confidential.

• I promise to keep you updated during your project.

• I believe in affordable family history. If I do not believe your research goal is attainable, I will alert you to that as soon as possible. I am open to payment in installments, as well.

 

Things to consider: ​

• You may learn things that are contrary to what you have believed about your family relationships or I may disprove a family legend. Please be aware that this is possible in my research.

• A family tree is never fully complete. There is always more to be found, especially at the rate that records continue to become digitized.
